We were summoned by a young kinfolk named Brandon to his home to help with his sick father Logan. Dr. McLeod treated the father with Mother’s Touch, but likely has COVID and was taken to the hospital by Brandon. In our investigations, we found that Brandon’s mother Christina works in HR for a large tech company and the father works at United Therapeutics in the IT dept. All have been working and schooling remotely since the pandemic began.
Our investigations discovered that a “burned, enlarged, weird-smelling squirrel” visited the home multiple times, and then went across the woods and left. The dog told us about it, and the tree spirit we awakened also confirmed this. The tree spirit agreed to stay vigilant and awake for 6 months if we want to come back for regular reports.
We then awakened the lamp post near where the scent trail left off. The lamp noticed a car stopping and parking four days ago, which was unusual, but nothing else unusual. Tan four door sedan with tail light missing and missing paint off its roof. Saw a person walk into the woods five days ago. Wearing a dirty hoody sweatshirt, but doesn’t remember seeing him come back out.
Remy called Dr. Washington to fill him in and see if he knows anything, and to alert the Sept about possible suspicious activity around kinfolk.
Omar and Dr. McLeod talked to the people living in the house across the street, but they didn’t see much except Biden folks putting up signs.
Omar plans to talk to animal control next session to see if they’ve caught or got reports of anything weird in this area lately. We will also trap and monitor this entrance and the house to see if we can get a live sighting of the creature visiting Brandon’s home. Bryan plans to figure out where the suspicious car may have gone.
