Bryan had no luck with locating the tan car. Traps and cameras set by Heretic and Remy in the woods only turned up normal animals and the occasional canoodling or drug-using teenagers. Omar tried and succeeded to wildly charm a Durham Animal Control officer but found nothing unusual reported. Dr. Lin called Dr. McLeod to ask about Logan and his family, and said some other kinfolk are sick with COVID-19 as well. Dr. Lin asked us to keep her posted on Logan’s recovery.

Dr. Washington called Remy back, said vampires had no helpful info, but there is a suspected Pentex building in RTP that had begun been getting regular shipments. That night at 12 midnight, a new shipment was expected to come in, and we were asked to find out what was being delivered.

The whole pack went to do light reconnaissance during the day. Then, as the pack came back at 11:45 or so, and approached building early for the drop, Remy hacked in and turned off all security cameras connected to that system. Dr. McLeod went up to the roof, and combat started with the armed truck guards positioned throughout the lot and on top of buildings.

Combat ended with Heretic holding the rat-smelling metal cage with god knows what inside, Bryan holding a corpse of a guard, Omar carrying a guard who is alive and restrained, the delivery truck crashed from delirium-addled drivers, and all other guards left on site healed enough not to die and peeing their pants from delirium. Security cameras were left off.

All in all, a job well-done. πŸ™‚
